This week is National Volunteers Week and a chance for everyone at Healthwatch Derbyshire to say a huge thank you to our marvellous volunteers.
We currently have 43 amazing active volunteers who last year gave an incredible 1913 hours of their time.
Our volunteers help in various roles such as project work aimed at collecting patient experiences and feedback, mystery shops, taking part in our Enter & View programme and distributing promotional materials across the county.
Helen Walters, Volunteer Co-ordinator at Healthwatch Derbyshire, said: “Our volunteers are absolutely amazing, and National Volunteers Week gives us the opportunity to thank all our volunteers for their hard work and dedication.
“Each of our volunteers makes a difference in our aims of making positive improvements to local health and social care services in Derbyshire.”
There are many ways you can join in and get involved with Healthwatch Derbyshire and if you would like further information, please contact Helen Walters on 01773 880786 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
