Your doctor is still here for you, it is important that if you notice any signs or symptoms of cancer, you contact your doctor.
- People with cancer are at a higher risk of complications resulting from covid-19 as cancer treatment can weaken your immune system.
- As a result of the pandemic your healthcare team may review your cancer treatment plan. They will aim to continue your treatment where possible yet may need to alter your treatment to prioritise certain treatments over others.
- Face to face contact will be minimised and substituted for telephone or video consultations instead.
