Government response on the future of Healthwatch

In July, the Government accepted all the recommendations from the Dash Review including abolishing Healthwatch. The Government have now formally responded to the petition backed by over 10,000 people. Read more about the response, what it means for Healthwatch Derbyshire, and our plans going forward.

Pharmacy First launched in early 2024, and allows pharmacists to prescribe and treat seven common conditions, so people don't have to visit their GP. The Views of Parents and Guardians on Baby and Toddler Flu VaccinationsThe Views of Parents and Guardians on Baby and Toddler Flu Vaccinations
We spoke with over 300 parents and guardians about flu vaccinations for their babies and toddlers. We found that most were positive about vaccinating their children. The research, done with Public Health at Derbyshire County Council, will help improve the winter flu vaccination campaign by addressing concerns about information, safety, and access.
